EUCNord is the largest combined business and technical college in northern Denmark. It offers commercial and technical vocational training, upper-secondary education, adult education and further education courses.
EUCNord is a self-governing, non-profit organization regulated, supported and accredited by the Danish Ministry of Education. The college has grown rapidly during the last twenty years and today its activities cover a wide range of education and training programs. Today about 3,000 full time students attend the college per year, and more than 10,000 enroll at the college per year. The annual budget is approximately EURO 35 million, and EUCNord has a staff of over 400 lecturers and support staff.
Over the latest years the College has followed a policy of internationalization, and today students from all programs at EUCNord are offered study visits and/or exchanges with students abroad. The departments enjoy collaboration with colleges, institutions and organizations internationally. These include contacts with England, Scotland, Germany, France, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Slovenia and China.
In addition EUCNord has established four Centers of Excellence, including The Nordic Center of Education and Training in Security and Alarm Technology (NUSA) and The Development Center for the Automotive Industry (ABUC).
